hello all,
im new to the camry forums and i wanted to ask about exhausts/mufflers for my 1999 camry LE. i currently have an injen IS intake, and i would like to either put an injen or magnaflow universal muffler on my car. does anyone have any suggestions? has anyone put a universal muffler on their camry? is it a good idea? please advise.

i have a 94 camry...exhaust is similar to yours...replaced the stock 2" tubes with 2.25" tubing, removed all resonators/cat and replaced the stock muffler w/ a Flowmaster 40 Series...worked out good...makes my 4cyl sound deeper at idle, and improves power without sacrificing low end.
Oh...it was all custom work...I had to re-hang everything b/c everything was rusty, and the stock muffler inlet is on the side, so I installed a new bend to make the universal muffler work.
