3SGTE swap

Anyone done or anyones friends done a 3SGTE swap into a gen 3 camry lemme know

few people done it before....i have seen a gen5 swap 3SGTE and it been 1 year still runs great....r u plan to get eng. swap

yeah i've got a 1MZ-FE in there now but there's nothin i can do to it without just going custom on the whole thing which i've considered but the 3sgte just has more potential dont ya think

yea i will choose 3sgte too....but 1MZ-FE is petty good too.... u can put trd supercharger on it....

true but if you had the choice of going for turbo or supercharger which would u go for?and do u think my stock engine would be able to handle the power of the supercharger? i haven't been able to find anything really for the gen 3 1MZ-FE other than intakes

yeah i was checking up on his site weekly and it's a sick turbo exactly what i'm lookin for but i think i'd still rather go with the 3sgte and mess with that incase i blow it and have the 1mzfe on the side

if u got a fully build 1mzfe u dont have to worry about blow eng....but its going to cost u alot money....

I have a 3sgte in my 88 camry.Its a great sleeper.Engine bolts in wiring is kind of a headache.Stock camry trans also bolts up.

I talked to a guy on cardomain that did it before.He said it was a pain in the ass and he had to get someone else to finish doing it for him because he didn't know enough about what he was doing.My opinion is it looked stupid in the car,it was an ugly looking engine.You should just turbo your existing engine,it is fun modifying your car using what you already have to work with.It really wouldn't be the same if I put a 350 in my car,would it? It would be faster,but in a way it isn't the same car then.
