My 95 Camry cannot be read by the OBD I or OBD II--or so I have been told. Can anyone tell me what I need? I'd like to buy a code reader, but... My engine light came on and I wanted to check it out, if possible. before turning it over to my mechanic. Thank you!

where do you reside that they cannot read it? has anyone told you why it cant be read?
