One thing that keeps making me mad is the separation of the door panel at the power window switch panel. Basically, the vinyll panel has pulled away a bit at the inner edge of the plastic switch panel.
quote:Yes, me too. I looked at about 8 different Camrys from '97 to '99 model years and all but one had this separation. Some were a little worse than others.

I have looked on a number of same vintage Camrys and seen the exact same thing.
quote:I really don't know. I haven't had the inclination to fix it yet. However, if I get the urge to fix it, I might try some stuff that I have that's called GOOP. I used it with success on the black "weatherstrips" on each side of the windshield that came loose on both the '98 Camry and the '01 Sienna that I have. I'm sure that other Toyo owners know about these two black strips coming loose as a result of the disintegration of the glue over the years of exposure to the heat, especially here in the Southeastern US.

Does anyone know a good way to fix this? I figured I could hot glue it back in but that does not seem to be holding it. Maybe some thicker super glue?
