Can someone help me? Yesterday while I was driving my 99 Camry (AT) after filling up on gas, the car started to jerk back and forth as I accelerated. The car started to do this as I reach 30mph and above. It would violently jerk as if it was not getting enough gas into the engine. As I reach 60mph, the car would suddenly die. It also did the same thing as I decelerated around 30 mph and came to a complete stop or turn the corner. Sometimes while in the process of acclerating, the car would idile at the speed.

If someone can help me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

sounds pretty bad. could be a fuel pump issue. Does it have trouble revving? After the car is warm, try revving the engine
and holding it at certain rpm's to see if it fails.

if that passes, it could be an issue with your transmission taking a dump.

naa.. if he did then it wouldnt even start up... a friend did that with his integra.. i asked that because some place water their gas down, to make it cheaper. in return your car will run very poor. a student in my brother's class had filled his car up with a low quality discount gas and was leaving to school (college) and he didnt even make it out of the gas station. so he got his car towed to the shop and they ran the scanner through it and didnt find any codes and check for tsbs. so they decided to test the gas and found that it was watered down so much that its has like 10% or less of the acutal gasoline.

Did you try to squeeze as much gas in as possible by repeatedly clicking the nozzel?
