I've got an 02 Camry and the other day I had my a/c on. Suddenly the light on the knob started blinking and I lost cool air. I turned it off and left it off for a minute or so and turned it back on. It ran fine again for a few minutes and then the same thing; blinking light and no cool air. I again turned it off for a few minutes and then back on. This time I have not had any of the same problems? Anyone have any ideas about the cause before I drop a lot of money on the a/c? I live in the south and it's getting to be about time that I will need it the most!!

sounds like your ac relay, do a search. there should be a TSB for this problem.

Hi ...
mmm ... lets start now ...
1st do what as toyboy suggested ...
2nd check all ur fuese's regarding the cooling system ... gas level ... & compressor swithch .. comp switch has a timer to turn it on & off .. it might be dirty as u have to clean the trerminals & re-hook it again & check other wise u can check it to direct connect the compressor without the swithc as if its working ok then u have to change the switch.
do it with the assistant of an a/c tech if u dont know how to do it for that i guess he wont charge u lot as if there is a problem the cost will be droped if u gonna repair it in his shop.
good luck
