Hi ... am thinking about fixing an alarm sys that opens the door locks & start the engine by remote control, but am a bit hesitated in doning that & thinking of remoting the door locks only ...
any advice of problems I might face & what is the best !!

depends on how well you know electrical system...are you good with electrical....these will be the deciding factor on wheather you can tackle this project

Am not so good in electrical but ama gonna fix it in a electrical shop ... but I was woundering if there any disadvantage in doing that ..

just take it to a stereo shop that carries the brand of alarm you own....and ask for their opinion on what the problem is and what would be the right steps to fix it.
