Early 1990''s will start and run but won''t move when put into gear. Has been raining a lot here and car was last out in a lot of puddles and got a lot of water up under it. Any ideas?

From my experience this issue may cause of low on fluid or blown transmission. If you have reverse and no forward, it''s might cause by the forward planetary system or forward drive train. Vice-Versa with forward no reverse. But when it won''t go in either direction, well that means broken axle or differential whereas it won''t hold in park,meaning when in park you can push the car more than a couple of feet.
