Gear Shift Selector plastic replacement 89 camry

I tapped on the plastic to the left of the gear selector.. and it cracked and broke. Yeah, well, I guess I forgot that it was 18 years old.
 
The replacement looks relatively straightforward, and I'm headed to a junkyard in the morning, but does anyone who has done this before care to chip in on the process or give any tips to help me out with it?
