HELP dead mouse in air conditioning system

We traded our Camry last week but have been waiting for them to find a particular color for us. In the meantime a mouse got into the heating/cooling passages in the car and has died. the stench is unbelievable! Are there directions anywhere for the steps for accessing or removing the ductwork to find the problem and remove and clean it? I doubt they will still take the car on trade without a huge discount and for them to fix it at $100+ per hour would be expensive to say the least.

BTW we already removed the cabin air filter and checked that area so the problem is further back in the passages.

Once you find the mouse an auto detail shop should be able to spray the car/ducts to neutralize the smell.

This appears to be a common problem as a Google search will produce many hits and ideas.

Yes, they have great sprays for this which we had done a couple of years ago but that time there didn''t seem to be a dead one in there - just urine and feces making the stink. This time I don''t think it''s going to work unless I can find the carcass.
