Hi I'm new here. I baught a cold air intake for my 4 cyl. 2001 camry but the stock hose has a "T" where one hose goes to the air filter and the other goes to an electrical box. The piping from the new filter doesn't come with a place for that electrical part of the hose.  It might actually just go after the stock hose but then i would have an extra opening on the new intake.Does anybody know what im supposed to do there?? Thank you in advance.

Are you sure its an electrical box? My 94 4cyl has a blox hangin from the intake as well, and from what I understand, people have taken that out before. Look more into it for your model, but I hear on a 94 its an irrelevent waste of space.

I believe the electrical wire is for the air sensor. They make an additional component that mounts on to the new intake to house the air sensor (the air sensor is important because it determines how lean or rich your fuel will run).  I just saw one online this morning but I forgot where I saw it.  try jcwhitney.com and see if you can find it there.  good luck.
