well i just received an 05 camry for my 21st b-day, with an auto tranny and its the base model. i plan on swapping it to a manual transmission, but i was looking at the camry motor, and i noticed that it looks very similar to the 05-07 scion tc motor. is it the same or is it just alike? also i need some advice! i am tossed up between a supercharger, and turbocharger, and dont know which to get. i also plan on getting the b-magic body kit, tein suspension, dont know what kind of rims, but i know i want black with chrome lip and deep dish, camber kit for the rear, and just beef up the motor. does anybody think i should do otherwise? please tell me straight up. also i have a friend that has a comptech supercharged s2k, and he has a hks ssqv blow off valve on it and it sounds almost identical to a turbocharged motor. am i just going nuckin futs?

yes. 2AZ-FE- plenty of aftermarket support because of the tC. turbo all the way because if you go big- go huge so nothing is left to what ifs. Also, do a manual swap- it'll be helpful to control the horses you'd be putting out w/a turbo. b-magic's cool- but i like the trd better because it cannot be considered rice out ov the factory.

so one_to_hate, if i wanted to put a short ram intake on my 4cyl 05 SE i can just get a tC intake and it should mount right up with little to no modification? i dont mind having a little extra work, its just a whole new ball park for me workin with a newer car. I am a whole lot more cautious workin on her than i was with my older accord and maxima.
If that is the case with the intake, is this true with most other engine upgrades for the tC?
