The rear plugs are most likely hidden under a removable cover (two nuts).

There isnt any cover on the rear bank. Just look for the coil packs in the same place on the rear valve cover as the front plugs are on the front valve cover.

You may have to moved the intake plenum... follow the spark plug leads - I can see mine? They're a pain in the ar$e to get to... so replace them with some iridium plugs... won't have to touch them for another 80k mate.

the rear 3 are somewhat difficult to get to especially if you dont have small hands/arms. but follow the wires and you'll find them. my rear 3 banks on my 1mz-fe are just plugged, so there are no bolts to remove, just pull and they pop out, then you need a socket extension to reach in and remove the plug.
just a bit of insight, just replace whatever you remove, dont try and go with a different brand or different kind. For this engine stay away from Bosch unless you want a high probability that you'll have some sort of rough idle...(not that toyota would have that pre-installed anyways).

Yes, this makes the simple task of spark plug replacement a total p.i.t.a !! . Good advice given already, so I can just confirm that you will need some extensions and take some yoga classes to get some flexibility in you first . I wouldn't take off the intake or anything, you'll just make more work for yourself and possibly botch something up in the process .
