i brought this spring online but when i put it on, the top of the spring didn't touch the Strut Mounts. the only way it touch if we push the strut mounts down. so the question i'm asking is the strut mounts going to compress when i install it in my car.

Are these springs shorter then the original, are you trying to lower the car?
Are you saying when you install the new spring/mount, the spring is to short. That the spring does not need to be compressed to install the mount and nut (as with the old spring)?

ye this is drop spring. are they suppost to be shorter then stock spring.

The cars weight would settle on the shock mount and compress things together. But I would be a little nervious about installing shorter springs that were not firmly compressed between the strut and strut mount when installed.
Typically the best approach is to use a drop spring that has a variable or lower spring rate. The spring is long enough to allow compession when installed but the soft enough that when the cars weight is placed on the shock the body settles to a lower height.
Suggest you do a web search on sites that manufacture or sell lowering springs. Call or email their technical service department and pick their mind.
People do cut their springs to shorten them but this is not generally recommended, car handling is one issue.
