Has anyone changed their lights on their 4th gen gauges from the ugly green to super white LEDs?

if you search around online, there are companies that specialize in making OE replacement bulbs in all different colors of LEDs

Oh.. i know that... i was just wondering if anyone has changed the light colors of their guages to something like superwhite or red? and what type of bulbs... are they 194s? Has anyone tried it? about how many bulbs? And i don't want to buy indiglo gauges.. just want to change the bulbs' color....

thanks,

trdcamrygracia,

oh.. so do they burn out quickly?... cuz i was thinkin about gettin the LEDs.. but they might not be as bright as the xenon gas ones. Have you tried it on your shifter ( i have an automatic). Is it pretty easy to get to the guage cluster?

...Also, how much of a drop do you have on your car, and what size rims? Do you need to get shocks for a 2 in drop or can you ride on stock shocksl without being camberred or too bouncy of a ride ... i know this isn't the place to ask this.. but it seems you may know the answer to my questions. =)

Thanks,

Sam

I HAD PULLED OUT MY CLUSTER I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES TO SWITCH COLORS I'VE TRIED GREEN, RED, AND A RED AND GREEN MIXTURE THAT DIDN'T LOOK ALL THAT WELL BY THE WAY BECAUSE THE GREEN BLENDS WITH THE RED. ANYWAY I FINALLY REALIZED THAT GREEN WAS THE COLOR TO STICK WITH BECAUSE I WASN'T ABLE TO CHANGE ALL THE BULBS IN THE CAR THERE FOR IT WOULDN'T LOOK RIGHT WITH THE CLUSTER BEING RED AND THE RADIO AND INSTURMENT PANEL BEING GREEN. I'VE TRIED TRUST ME, BUT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WAS A HARD ONE TO GET TOO AND PLUS I DIDN'T WANT TO MESS WITH THE A/C UNIT ITS RISKY UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, BUT NOT ME LOL. ANYWAY I HEARD PEOPLE PUTTING REVERSE GLOW GAUGES HOW IS THAT DONE? IF ANYONE HAS DONE THAT POST PICTURES OF WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE AND STEPS TO GO ALONG WITH IT BECAUSE I'M INTERESTED IN DOING THAT TO MY CAMRY.
