Do most of my own repair work. Owned a 95 Intrepid and just junked it this year with 198K on it, bought a used 2002 Camry LE V6 with 64K on it, nice car. It now has 100K on it and I haven't done anything but change the oil. Think about replacing the timing belt myself, seems pretty straight foward. Any hints/tips? Didn't see any posts on the subject.

I got my mechanic friend to do the timing belt for me so i got nothin as far as hints/tips.  I did get the water pump/drive belts replaced at the same time though.

good luck.

Thanks, I'm going to change the plugs while I'm at it. Part of the procedure tells you to remove the plugs to turn the crankshaft easier. Water pump is getting changed too. I will post in the appropriate forum on my experience.

Well it's all done. Took all day, but I also took my time. Did not need to remove the intake to access all of the spark plugs.
