What's going on everyone? Just picked up an 09 LE over the weekend. Originally had an 07 Eclipse GT. Gas was killing me! Spending $50-75 every couple of days...that got old real fast. So I went to trade it in at my Toyota dealership. I had my eye on CPO 07 LE. Had about 15k miles and going for about 18K. Well traded my ride in, and the salesman was able to get me an 09 LE for cheaper. Shocked. And that's with the maintenance plan, GAP, and a couple of other things.
Here's a couple of things I need to adjust or fix on here:
- No fog lights. I love them and need them, but the LE doesn't have them stock.
- Tint. Windows are a lot bigger than the eclipse. So there's all sorts of light coming in.
- Audio/Video. They tried to sell me the Pioneer Navi system, but that was going to run me an additional $2k. There's got to be something else. Plus my Eclipse had the iPod kit in there. Charges and plays my iPhone perfectly. Plus I had the JBL audio system too on my old Eclipse.
- Wheels. The 16s won't do at all. 16s with hubcaps. :(
Any recommendations on either of those?
But just want to say, love the site, searched for one as soon as I bought my ride. Love the car, love the gas, love the look...just now got to fix these other things.
