hi im new here and i personally dont own a toyota but my mom does and she needs help lol. the car is a 92 toyota camry
the instrument cluster does not light up and shes complaining to me because she cant see how fast shes going at night time.
ive looked around and tried out a few things such as fuses and relays they all seem fine.
during my searching i realised that none of the interior lights that should come on when the headlights are on are working such as the heater control nob and the auto selector lever lights dont come on either.

in my opinion the headlight switch is not functioning properly so that it dosnt send a signal to the rest of the car that the headlights are indeed turned on.

however being a nissan/bmw guy i thought id ask here to see if this is a comon problem and if any of the toyota gurus could shed some light on my predicament.
thanks for any help.

Do the headlights turn on with the switch? - If so, I'd bypass the rheostat to see it it might be burnt out. Good Luck!
