Rear Defogger-2002 I-4 Camry

My first post here. Seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people that visit here. My problem concerns a inop rear defogger. My after market manual does not give detailes schematics on this part. The light comes on when you pust the DEOG button and the 0 amp fuse is good. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

first thing i would check is to see if there have been any TSBs or recalls for that issue, because if the switch is working, it sounds like it could be a wiring issue..

Is this the type of rear defrost with the orange wires running accross the window. if so you can test for breaks in those lines on the window with a volt meter and there is a repair procedure.
