Missing washer on a flange; no gaskets; no clamp or weld on the connection between muffler and pipe (just friction fit). Yes it happened to me last week. And they put a v6 muffler on my 4 banger. Should I name the franchise? I "saved" money by not going to the dealer first.

and the reason why you werent there to oversee the installation was...?
when something that is going to be seen is being done on your car by someone else, ALWAYS oversee the work, otherwise it WILL NOT be how you want it...even if its just something simple like replacing a light.
