'98 Camry XLE Windshield replaced???
Hello All!
I have 73,000 miles on this car, which needed a new windshield.
In the USA, Obviously I am not able to get the original Toyota windshield, so when Safelite Glass came out to replace it a few weeks ago, i immediately called and sent a few emails, but no reply.
The issue is that all four glass corners do not meet, but instead, they are rounded out, does not meet the corner.
So, should I expect this so-called 'finished look", to look like it does, or did the installer, CUT CORNERS, by not replacing new rubber seal, which also does not match the corners.
Please advise, if you know, if this is the acceptable 'finished" look, or a bad install.
Thanks!

I suspect they round the corners for ease of install but I'm not sure.
If the rubber seal/trim that goes around the corners has a gap, I would not be happy either. At the least they could replace seal/trim that had rounded corners so there wouldn't be a gap.
