Default Aftermarket stereo help

I hope someone out there can help me. I own a 2002 toyota camry LE with the JBL sound system. My in dash 6 CD changer bit the dust on me so I decided to upgrade to a kenwood BT838U. Whenever I turn the volume up above a certain level the CD player turns off and then turns back on again. Now it actually won't even turn on anymore. Any ideas? I still have the factory speakers in there and I used a wiring harness that by passes the factory JBL amp. Thanks in advance for helping me!

when you by pass the factory amp, it cause's your factory speakers to no longer work to there potential thus cutting them on and off as you are playing. If you want to stop this problem you need to get a harness that will intergrate your stock amp into your aftermarket deck. Head over to best buy or your nearest car audio store to get the harness you need. I went through 3 different harnesses myself until I found the one that worked.

It's not the speakers cutting out. The whole head unit is powering down and needs to be reset. I was told if I run a new constant power wire it should fix the problem.

Also any places in Richmond that you recommend to purchase a wiring harness? I currently live in Midlothian and I am on a tight budget. Thanks for the help!
