Issue with stock amplifier
Hey there all. New to the forum, and specifically joined because I am having an issue with the sounds on my 2009 toyota camry.
The head unit was taken out and replaces with a Kenwood DNX5120.
This unit only has 2 preouts for an amp: one that can be controlled as sub/rear and the other as fronts.
My sounds also have a bass amplifier as well as some subs. The sub/rear is used as the subs, and the front one is split to hook into the factory amp.
The issue comes that there seems to be some fading coming from the speakers, shifting from front to rear and so on. Is this because I am using crappy y cables? or is it possible that during the split I am possibly not hooking black with black and white with white? Maybe I have a black with white, etc? I am pretty confused and am unsure of what I have done.
I am looking for advice now.
