Default 2013 Toyota Camry SE sticky paddle shifter

I just bought this Camry a couple of weeks ago, loved everything. The only annoying thing is that the shift up paddle shifter is very sticky every time I press it for some reason, and the colder it gets outside, the stickier it is. Once the inside and out of the car warms up, the stickiness stops and everything is working as normal. I just don't know how to fix it, I didn't have this problem when the 2016 SE rental that I had prior to this. Thank you in advance.

The paddle shift switch is sticking or the trans is slow to respond to shift commands?

The actual paddle shift sticks. If I just the gear **** to switch gear. It works fine and very responsive.

Might try spraying an electronic cleaner using compressed Freon to clean out the are around the switch. The Freon will flush out any debris without leaving a residue.

Then apply a silicone spray lube.
