96 Camry power door lock issues

96 Camry power door lock issues
I recently inherited a 96 Camry wagon. I was surprised at how much I liked the car. Roomy, comfortable, etc..
So the issue for today is the power door locks. Like every car that I've had with central locking except for my 87 535i, the locks are wonky.
The key lock on the driver's door only unlocks the driver's door. The key lock on the passenger door locks and unlocks all of the doors. The lock switch on the driver's door will unlock all of the doors but won't lock anything. The switch on the passenger door works as it should.
Am I looking at a switch issue? A key lock issue?
Other than the door locks and the rear window washer, everything else in the car seems to work as it should.

96 Camry Window Switch
Sound like the door locks on the Master Switch is going out. You can try the master switch and if it doesn't work out for you , it can be returned. http://www.switchdoctor.net/toyota-camry-window-switch/toyota-camry-master-power-window-switch-1995-1996/

I have a wagon with a similar problem. Mine is the wiring between the door and the body. Since the wiring here has to bend from opening th drivers door so many times in 17 years, the wiring inside the convolute tubing breaks. I would bet this is your problem.

If water coming out from under the cover the water pump may be leaking. Again the pump can fail, make noise. The cover would need to be removed to access. If you don't know auto repairs this may be a job for a mechanic but DIY's have replaced pumps.
