Default Camry 2010 Throttle Body & PCV Valve

Hey everyone

I'm trying to locate the Throttle Body on my 2010 Camry SE. I couldn't locate a throttle cable under the hood like my old Integra has. This would tell me where the Throttle Body is. The reason I'm looking for it is I'd like to clean it (I know how to clean it). Any advice/drawings/pictures ?

I'm also looking for the location of the PCV Valve. Dealer said I ought to replace it at 40k miles...and I ain't paying them $125 to replace a $10 part. Any advice on this?

Thanks guys

actually, knowing what engine it is helps either.
anyhow, you do not have cable. it's drive by wire throttle. basically, your gas pedal is nothing more then "I wish" pedal, that tells ECM what you wish to do, then ECM considers as programmed.
air filter air hose should guide you straight to it. on my 07 TCH it's waaaaaay down there below the valve cover, on the air intake. well hidden.

throttle body is usually located between the air filter box and the intake manifold, and it is usually attached to, or near, the mass airflow sensor.

heres a pic:

actually, this is 2010 throttle body, with no cable attachment and obvious electrical pintle valve actuator:

Thanks!
OK I see the electrical connection here, with no cable attachment like you say. Electrical connection would tell throttle body what position to be in. That helps.

I have a 2.5 Liter. I got one of the first 2.5L 2010 SE's on the lot, actually I'll poke around for it a bit. Perhaps I have to take the air hose off to see it...

yes, I have same engine in 2007 Camry Hybrid. follow the air duct and it dips down and behind the valve cover. Throttle body is well down there, you almost can not see it at all.
there's quite some number of parts to disconnect before you get to it. honestly, I seriously doubt it's dirty at 40 000 miles. but hey, it's a project! better than booze or drugs.

you do have 2 electrical pieces in there. one is throttle position sensor and one is throttle actuator. actuator opens pintle valve based on what computer tells it to do. that's drive by wire system. there is no direct link between gas pedal and pintle valve itself.
also car should have electrical assist power steering, when electrical actuator - controlled by computer - assists and corrects with steering wheel movements.
mine also has electrical a/c compressor and 2012 has electrical water pump.
A LOT of components is now ECM controlled.
