Hi there - I'm new to this today and pretty psyched too - lol - I had a repairman replace my front bumper and grill after a stupid accident, but he gave me a chrome emblem instead of a gold one which my car originally had and also has on the rear. Does anyone know how I can replace my front chrome to a gold without damaging anything? Please advise. Thanx! - Maura

Look closely at the grille and bumper and determine if they are separate pieces.

Toyota changed to a one piece design sometime around 1999.

If a two piece system the grille can be easily removed by taking out a couple of bolts. Once out you will have easy access to the back.

Look at the emblem, it has a couple of hooks at the top. The hooks are installed into the hole then the emblem rotated and pushed into the hole. Removal would be in reverse order.
