Smile Wheel lug torque specs--2010 Camry XLE

Specs will be the same for all 4 wheel lug nuts - 76 FT/LBS.
Tightened in proper sequence.
Many shops have set their pneumatic tools between 70-75 FT/LBS. and go over each wheel nut separately with a hand operated torque wrench set at 75 FT/LBS.
A few FT/LBS. either way is not going to hurt anything on your lugs.
However, cheap to high priced alloy mags/rims must be set correctly or it could warp them.
I've seen this happen on OEM factory wheels. If the shop isn't performing their final check with a calibrated "click" type torque wrench take your business elsewhere but first quiz the manager why they aren't using one. There are lots of ma and pa shops out there that pneumatic everything just because it's quicker.

Good luck.

--thanks for your comments. I use a hand torque wrench----would you recommend that I purchase torque sticks (I have two other cars that I am constantly doing tire/wheel work), and can they be trusted?? Larry
