Default 2003 running rough after battery disconnect

2003 Camry - changed starter, disconnected battery - - not running rough. Is that the computer finding itself?

Very possible. If not healing itself over time, try cleaning the throttle body.

Did this happen all of a sudden or did it gradually become defiant? Any recent work done?

Default Running rough

Did I have any recent work? Yes. Had the starter replaced. My understanding is - that Camry's will run rough for a while after the batter is disconnected - -due to the need for the computer to recalibrate itself. Is that truth or myth?

If a 4-cylinder the throttle is electric. Computer may take time to readjust the throttle.

Also try cleaning the throttle body which in many cases solves the problem.

I second the cleaning of the throttle body. Also, you might as well clean the MAF sensor as well. I can attest to the importance of this.
