RE: 95 camry le ecu fuse blowing
Exactly which fuse is blowing?
You can swap ECU's if they have the same part numbers. Part number is based on engine and trans model, emissions certification-CA or Fed, etc.

There may be 2 ECU fuses:
ECU-IG powers
A/C pressure switches
ABS
Antenna motor
Seat belt buckle switch
Combination meter
Cruise control
Cooling fan ECU on V6
Tran shift solenoids
Coolant sensor for radiator fan
Trans shift lock ECU
Radio fan relays
ECU-B powers
ABS
Day time running light relay

RE: 95 camry le ecu fuse blowing

Guesing AM2 Fuse.
The fuse powers the:
Coil
Ignitor
Injectors
Fuel pump via the Circuit Openning Relay
Wire colors going from the fuse are Brown/Orange and White/Red.
You can start by disconnecting the power wire to the coil (White/Red) and determine if it is shorted.
The Circuit Openning Relay is behind the glove box in a relay panel. You can pull the relay to disconnect the fuel pump.
Check wiring to each injector to make sure it is not shorted to ground.
The ingnitor has its own wiring plug the can be removed.
Is the a V6 or 4 cylinder?
Did the mechanic check the timing belt and make sure it was not broken.
