Default 99 Camry 4cyl won't go over 3200rpms after timing belt broke

Hello all. Second post, and seeking advise.

The wife's water pump seized and broke the timing belt. New belt and pump, she starts right up and runs great. So I thought. Under normal driving conditions, she drives great with no misfires. If it gets to 3200rpms, it won't go past 3200 rpms at all. Just stumbles until I let off the gas and it upshifts.

I checked and rechecked the timing, had my brother (ASE tech) check it, it's in time. No codes. New crank sensor - still chugging.

Any ideas? I'm leaning toward a faulty MAP sensor - but I don't have much diagnostic information to work with, I'm a Nissan tech - but I know the brand very well and don't work on other brands often.

Help is greatly appreciated.

Can check MAP sensor if having a vacuum pump with reasonably accurate gauge. Will need to access wiring harness plug at the ECU to check voltage drops at certain vacuum settings.

Check crank position sensor ohm readings.
985-1600 ohm cold, 1265-1890 ohm hot.

Check ign system and coils.
Resistance secondary 9.7-16.7 K ohms cold, 12.4-19.6 K ohms hot.

The AutoZone website may have specific test data for the car in the sites vehicle repair guide section.
