99 Toyota Solara V6 trouble codes: P0300, P0301-P0306, P0141, P0446
Friend's Solara, trying to figure out whats going on. Car stumbles and has no power.
Throwing a host of codes, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0304, P0305, P0306 (all misfires except cylinder 3). also throwing P0141 (O2 sensor pre-cat) and P0446 (electrical circuit for the vent control on Evap system).
Kinda at a loss as to what is going on... where are some good places to start?
Thanks for the help in advance!

check the fuel and make sure you dont have bad fuel sometime fuel may have water in it that causes a misfire. and the o2 sensors detect it at the cat. and since you have a multiple misfire code that seems to be the right direction to go. obviously check the spark plugs t see if they are clean not oily or extremely carbon soiled. just a suggestion. let me know what happens

nope, doubt its bad fuel... been doing it intermittenly for over 6 months. spark plugs look good and where changed not too long ago. also check resistance on coil packs, and everything was in spec. this ones just got me thrown for a loop... I'm going to check the fuel pressure sometime soon and see what that's at... but I'm thinkin I wont find much.

P0141 is Bank 1 Sensor 2.
Check resistance sensor heating coil circuit. B+ and HT wires, (Purple/BLack and Black/Yellow) should be 11-16 ohm at 68. You might have to take out the drivers seat and remove the carpet to get at the plug.
P0446: Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Malfunction
There is a leak in the vacuum system or a valve/sensor is not working. Inspect vacuum hoses, etc. between EVAP Purge VSV and charcoal canister for leaks, damaged, blocked lines, etc. Vapor pressure sensor, open /short in circuit
VSV for vapor pressure sensor, open/short in circuit VSV for EVAP
Charcoal canister cracked, leaking Suggest starting with the canister and canister VSV, this seems to be the greatest trouble area.
If you are overfilling when fueling, stop.
As to the P030X codes
Do all plugs look the same?
P0300 is a catch all code for the other P030X codes. Issues could be low fuel pressure, injector blockage and a MAF sensor or ECU coolant temp sensor.
Try running the engine with the MAP/MAF sensor wire socket disconnected. If it runs OK or better, this is the problem.
Low fuel pressure due to fuel pump or pressure regulator problem (guessing it is in the tank), the can type filter almost never needs replacing.
Did you get some bad gas?
