Default blown fuse

Hi, Fellas My question is this morn I went get something for the wife and at the intersection my 87 toyota camry died it would crank but no start. So I got the idea maybe a fuse. I looked under the hood in the box by the battery. Checked the ecu 15 amp fuse and it was blown so I pulled it and borrowed a less important one to get back home on from a different location and it immediatly blew also. I was wondering if maybe someone had a good place for me to start my search for the short ?

This is an old post but did you ever figure it out? I'm blowing the ECU-B fuse as well (though my car still runs fine) and can't figure it out.

Year of car?

What does not work when fuse is blown? Such as A/C, dash instruments, SRS (SRS light does not come on during self check), etc?
