1995 camry cruise control

Looks like the passengers side upper kick panel area.
Appears not to make a difference if stick or auto. One wire attaches to the Neutral/Park or Clutch.
Have you tried accessing the self test feature of the unit?
There should be a round service electrical plug under the dash near the steering shaft area. Find the plug.
With ign switch on use a section of electrical wire to jump the Tc and E1 terminals. The cruise light will flash out a code number via flashes one numeral at a time. If no codes are stored the light will flash at a constant rate.
The E1 and Tc terminal are the inner 2 terminals in a bottom row of 6.
