CEL Code 046

Default CEL Code 046

I can't find anywhere what this code is any thoughts?


btw it is a 2000 camry

I dont think thats an accurate code as far as i know all OBDII codes start with PO followed by three numbers

Hey are you sure its not PO446 and the person that read the code for you didnt give you the wrong number because that is a common problem with camrs and it refers to the EVAP system which consist of the charcol canister and a couple of VSV valves and the dealer suggest that all the parts are replaced i did it on my 1998 camry for about 400 doing the work my self... I can't imigine what it cost to have it done.

P0446 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction

Thats from another thread where I posted all of the OBD2 DTCs. There was no P0046 or 046. Find out what the code actually is and tell us, then we can maybe off some help.

I promise i can help all i do is evap systems now i'll almost promise you its that! 1997 - 2000 has major problems and most of the new parts are changed from the ones they used when they built the cars
