Default Door switch not locking 1994 Camry

My 1994 Camry had a dead battery the other night. The battery was fairly dead so it took a couple of minutes to jump start.
I noticed that the drivers and passenger side door switches does not lock the door. These switches works unlocking the door but it does not lock them. I also noticed that the key operation from the outside does work and it both unlocks and locks all doors.

Does anybody have any suggestions where I should start looking?

Thank you in advance.

The locks worked correctly before the battery died?

When the switch is moved to lock, do the locks move to lock position then move back to unlock?

Yes, the locks worked correctly before the battery died. The locks works only with the key, not with the inside door lock switch. The door lock switch does unlock the locks.

Any remote or keyless lock system installed?

Door lock system uses Gauge fuse.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I did have an aftermarket keyless burglar alarm installed. Woth the remote, it will lock the doors. While I was attempting to jump start the car, the alarm would sound every time I tried starting the car. Now the alarm system does not work nor does my inside door lock switch.

The first place to start is with the remote. Find the remote control box perhaps located under the dash. Then if possible use any info on the box to track down the users manual.

The remote may have a inline fuse (perhaps also under the dash) or be connected to a one of the cars fuses. Run down any blown fuses.

I removed the inline fuse. Tested it with the ohm meter, looks fine. I put it back and the alarm started to sound. The remote, car alarm and locks all work. thanks for your tips.
