Ok, in early Sep. I did a ton of preventative maintanence type of things to my car in preperation for a cross country trip. I went on the trip and I got 34-37 mpg. I attribute my excellent mileage new plugs (iridium) & wires, inflating the tires to 38 psi, and using synthetic oil. Thank you Toyota 4 cylinders!
