Default 1996 2.2 5FSE Camry cooling problem

Long story short I hope. Pulled engine, replaced all freeze plugs. Flushed entire engine coolant system. New water pump, radiator and filled coolant system with the radiator vacuum tool to remove all the air out of the system. Electric fans work with the thermostat, but it just seems like it runs to hot all the time. Radiator is smoking at times after a short or long drive, engine temp gage reads within range. Can't seem to get the overflow tank and radiator level in sink, radiator spits all the coolant into the overflow tank until the tank is overfull with coolant. Running out of ideas??????
Thanks in advance, hope this is enough info.

Maybe im wrong but i think your missing the basic's....Go over your work agian to ensure everything is done properly. Could be a bad water pump, i work for an auto parts store and see defects all to often. Did you replace the thermostat when you did this. Sounds to me like its sticking. Was there alot of rust when you flushed it? Gunk ect. ? Ect sensor bad maybe?

I think when it boils back into the overflow its either a bad thermostat or bad head gasket..Just some ideas to help ya out good luck
