what else did you replace and repair...cam seal? and is it back fire when you crank it..?

I figured it out right after I posted this... The service manual isn't clear what mark on the cam housing is the timing mark, there is a dot, like a halfway drilled hole, and a notch... the timing mark is the NOTCH not the dot.. Put it on the notch and it fired right up :-)
