Hi,

I'm new to the forums and I had a couple of questions....

My girlfriends 2000 Toyota Camry has had a check engine light on for a little while. Finally got around to getting Advanced to check the error codes and they came out as:

P0401 - EGR Inefficient Flow
P0770 - Shift Sole Malfunction


I was just wondering what exactly these meant?

I've heard that the VSV could be the main culprit for the P0401 code, but usually the P0402 pops up to when thats the case, so maybe its the EGR or the EGR modulator??


And on the P0770 error code I have no clue....
