Engine Coolant Resivor

My engine coolant resivor is bubbling and also my car is overheating I don't know why!!! Any help ?

Sounds like you'd better start thinking about a blown head gasket.......

Please provide, manuf, model, type, mileage, past owners, maintenance work performed , is oil clean (no antifreeze) and leaks. The more detail the better.
