Default 07 XLT V6 - Check Engine Light - Check VTC - P0352 Error Code?

I had the check engine light come on today, and the traction control icon (car with squiggly lines) also lit up, and the information display said, "Check VSC"... So I assumed the car's stability control was the issue (probably a sensor?) but when I scanned the code, all that was there was P0352 which is a code for a bad coil? The car runs fine, no sign of a bad coil, and the display is still reading "Check VSC." Any ideas?

When the check engine light comes on the VSC and any other traction systems turn off to save engine power.

See link:

DTC P0352 Ignition Coil B Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

Also check spark plugs, plug wires and electrical connections to the coils.

No 2 coil is the middle rear spark plug.

The rear coils are difficult to access, suggest clearing the code and determining if it comes back. If so and your mechanically inclined purchase a Haynes manual and DIY, else find a shop.

Ok, thanks... But I thought the #2 cylinder/coil was the front passenger-side coil... Essentially, the cylinder bank closest to the radiator would be, from left to right: 2, 4, 6 as if you just lifted the hood to look at the engine from the front of the car?

Good catch, your correct.

Might swap coils with another one on the car. If the code changes to reflect the new coil location this would confirm a coil problem.

Ok thanks, I'll try that... In my research on this, it seems coil issues are a common problem on the Camry V6, especiall 2007+... My car only has 34,000 miles on it, is it already time to trade up to something newer? Is the car itself reliable for the long term? I guess I'm a little dissapointed to be having issues with the car already? Thanks again for your help...
