My cruise contol does not work light blinks then goes out till ign turned off. shorted TE1 E1 engine light keeps blinking that says it is ok OD light says 63 Cruise light just stays on. is there a system of checking cruise triuble codes? Thank You for the help.

 

My Cruise Control would shut off, the light would blink a few times and would not run again until restarted as well. It did it mostly when under a load like inclines. After replacing my spark plugs one day I noticed I had one burned up plug. It seems as though the misfire was creating a extra load on the engine causing the CC to become disabled. Has not happened since, so maybe a coincidence or maybe the cause, can't say exactly as it was never officially diagnosed electronically. For a few bucks it wouldn't hurt to replace the plugs anyway. You might get lucky!
