Default 1MZ-FE engine has no power

i have a 94 toyota camry v6 le coupe with a 1MZ-FE engine. when i press the accelerator i get barely any power. i can only reach 2200 rpm. the car will only go into drive or park. the engine is getting fuel so i assume its an airflow problem but i am totally lost.

Only go in drive or park?

If airflow have you check the air filter and engine intake hose?

well, if trannie is bust, ECM might as well put engine into so called "limp mode" to prevent trannie from further destruction. Which is just that - just enough to get you place safe.

You can rev the engine higher in Park or Neutral?

May still be a fuel issue. A badly plugged fuel filter (rare but happens) or failing fuel pump can cause the engine to rev OK in P or N but barely have enough power to make it over the curb onto the driveway.
