Default '94 camry 220Si hesitation on acceleration.

Hi guys, hopefully someone can give me some help here, I've searched the net flat, and still can't find anything helpful. OK, so here's the lowdown, when cold the car idles fine, revs up fine, the idle control appears to be working...once it's hot however, idle is still fine, about 700rpm, i can increase the rev's slowly and it revs up smoothly, no misfiring or anything, but as soon as you rev it quickly it appears to flood and almost stall out.

I have checked the following:
No engine check light problems, i get the continuous flashing when bridging TE1 and E1, which indicates normal operation.

Fuel pressure: Static (engine off) - 325 kpa
Engine idling - 280 kpa
Engine idling (vac hose on regulator disconnected) - 325 kpa

Timing is 10 deg btdc (which is the spec)

Checked TPS seems that all the ohms are within spec according to the haynes manual.

Checked the coolant temp sensor that goes to the ecu, all fine there.

My only worry was the MAP sensor, where the hayne's book said it should give approx 4.0v no vac and 0.5v at 25 inHG, where i'm getting 3.5v and +- 1.1v respectively. I managed to get a second MAP sensor but i get EXACTLY the same readings, so i'm sceptical that that is the problem.

I do not have an EGR valve, O2 sensor, cat.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as this car has had me stumped for the last 2 weeks and Toyota weren't any help when i asked them.
