Default '95 Camry won't start- immobiliser/electronics issue?

Hey y'all

So I have a '95 auto Camry fitted with an immobiliser, usually I press the button, a light comes on on the dash and I can start the car.

But yesterday, I went to start it, pressed the button- and no light, therefore no start. The engine turns but it doesn't catch & start, if you know what I mean.

The immobiliser battery is fine I think, as the light on the remote comes on when I press the button, and I've also tried the backup immobiliser with no luck.

I don't think it's the battery as the radio/air etc all work fine. I have also checked all the fuses and they seem fine.

I would really appreciate any advice about how to fix it, it's sitting in a store car-park and I need it back!

Cheers.

If you have not already ask at the following sites:

Auscam - Index

Camry Club - Toyota Owners Club - Australia

The immobilizer was not used on US Camry until a few years latter and it appears your is a different design.

Below is something found on the internet. Read the part about waiting for the system to disarm with the key is in the ignition.
