i got a 99 camry 2.2 and im hearing a rattling noise from my front suspension at first it was just the right side but now its both sides and i ant figure it out u only hear it when your in the car the noise sound like a clunk clunk over rough rodes and speed bumps if anyone can help id really appreciate it

If it's only noisy while going over speed bumps, then it might be the struts, the strut mounts, or a little of both. I would start there.

I got a similar problem which I posted on the suspension section and am told it is definitely strut top mounting so I will take the strut off soon and investigate. It really sounds like its from the wheel area but I can't simulate it by rocking wheels or hitting with rubber hammer or any other way, plus my car just passed inspection and they test all that anyway.

 

Sometimes it could be a number of things and its hard to determine without looking at the strut assembly itself. Maybe take it into a shop to have an inspection? I personally don't have any idea what it could be so that would be my suggestion.
