Lightbulb Code P2121 : Anyone know location of this sensor?

Friends
my first post in this particular forum but let me just dive-in...
My daily/d is 2004 Camry SE 2.4L. never had a code show up on it in 145K miles.... however that streak has come to an end.
This may be related either to work recently done or cold, or both, or nada... random

the code P2121 popped up when I picked up from Body shop where they had to R/R the driver-side front wheel well liner shroud, and that corner Quarter panel/bumper intersection. Got bumped in a christmas shopping parking lot incident . Anyway, picked it up on a very cold day and as soon as I turned it on the code was there. Took the code with OBD II, cleared it, and it did not recur until last evening, after washing the car in 33 degree temperature with the jet-spray thingies at local car wash. did my thing, hopped back in the car, fired it up and the code was back. THIS time the car behaved erratically on the drive home, but seemed more normal this morning. Coming home last night it did not know when to shift, and the pedal movement/travel produced some dead spots [no reaction to pressing pedal].

1. So - am I now in "limp mode" ?
2. Can someone tell me exactly which sensor may be producing the condition and where it is located???

thx

Throttle pedal position sensor.

See link below. The info is for a Highlander but the car appears to have the engine.
