Ok so I just got a 92 camry. I got it cheap and knew there was work to be done to it...seemed like a good idea at the time. I took it to the mechanics, it drove fine when I picked it up, the nexy day it started stalling. The mechanic says its not the EGR valve but isn't sure what is causing this problem, it is getting really annoying and I need help! Any suggestions on where to start to figure out what the problem is? Please?

 

There is a bunch of stuff discussed here. I would start with a search for "stalling". It can be a number of simple things other than the EGR that your mechanic should be able to troubleshoot. You will need to test parts to see what is the problem - no magic to it.
