Drive axle assemblies same for a 5 speed manual and an automatic trans Camry?
Hi. I was wondering if anyone new if the drive axle assemblies are the same for a 1993 Camry 5 speed manual trans and an automatic trans?
My engine is a 2.2L 4 cylinder and it is a 4 door sedan.
Having checked many places for parts online all I am able to see any difference with is the type of engine and if it has ABS or not.
Never seen anything referring to what type of trans it has.
Any help with this would be great.

Looks like the axles are the same for both stick or auto.
The axles would be different for a V6 or 4 cylinder.
As to ABS. Some axles are listed for ABS, non-ABS or with/without ABS. If with or without the axle is built for ABS usage but can also be used in non-ABS cars without problems (this is common).
If you have ABS get an axle stating for ABS or with/without both.
